Alexia Nepola and Stephanie Shojaee reacted to the news that Real Housewives of Miami was put on a “long pause” amid lawsuits and casting issues.

In 2025, Alexia’s ex, Todd Nepola, filed an $11 million lawsuit against Bravo and NBCUniversal over alleged defamation. Though he and Alexia divorced around that time, many fans have speculated that they’re still in a romantic relationship.

In a March 19 Instagram post, Alexia addressed the recent news.

“As a proud Latina, being part of a platform like RHOM on Bravo has always meant more to me than just reality television—it’s meant visibility, representation, and having a voice,” she wrote. “Hearing that the show is currently on pause is disheartening, and it’s hard not to feel the weight of that. Opportunities like this are rare, and they matter. They open doors, challenge perceptions, and allow our stories—and our culture—to be seen and celebrated on a larger stage.”

“At the same time, I truly believe that a pause can create space for something even greater,” she went on. “I’ve always felt this show plays an important role in celebrating Latin voices, and that’s something I will always carry with me. I’m staying positive, present, and hopeful for what’s ahead.”

She thanks NBC and Bravo for “allowing our city to shine.”

“Most of all, I’m grateful for the connection—for everyone who has supported me, followed my journey, and been part of it all,” she added. “That never goes away. This isn’t goodbye… it’s simply see you soon.”

Around the same time, Stephanie shared her own reaction.

“Life is about timing, and airing during peak summer travel was far from ideal!” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m disappointed, because strong Latina voices deserve a spotlight that’s still lacking. But Miami always finds its way back. For now, I’ll be keeping up with everyone’s crazy lives. I love the girls, and meeting them will always be the best part of RHOM.”

“And one thing about Latinas and underrepresented voices. you can pause us, but you can’t cancel us,” she said. “We always find our way back stronger. Mighty Mouse will see you soon.”
