Miranda Hope reacted to Jessi Draper “kiss[ing]” her ex-husband, Chase McWhorter, as she leaked Jessi’s apology letter. Plus, Jessi’s husband, Jordan Ngatikaura (who recently filed for divorce), reacted to the news, and he denied Jessi’s recent claim on Call Her Daddy that he hired an “escort.”
On the newest season of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Chase pursued a romance with Taylor Frankie Paul, who was once Miranda’s good friend. According to recent reports, he’s now involved with Jessi amid her divorce.
Speaking to ET, Miranda addressed the rumors surrounding Chase and Jessi.
“Unfortunately, I am familiar with this territory. I knew there had been communication between Chase and Jessi, but not to what extent,” wrote Miranda. “Then, Chase was upfront and told me that they were talking and that they kissed.”
“Jessi reached out only after she knew Chase had told me something was going on with them,” she went on. “And today, at the same time a rumor started spreading online that something was going on with Chase and Jessi, I received apology flowers from Jessi.”
Miranda made clear that she has no “emotional attachment” to Chase.
“He is my co-parent. Although I do feel disrespected by Chase, I feel slighted by my friend,” she explained. “Chase and I are no longer partners, and while I have a high expectation of him as a co-parent, I also hold my friends to a high standard and believe in girl code.”
“With everything going on and all the chaos, I am just focusing on my kids,” she added. “As unfortunate as the film break is and then also this betrayal, I’m going to try and focus on my kids and reground myself. I am processing it and moving forward.”
Meanwhile, a source told Deuxmoi on Instagram that Jessi and Chase “were seen being cozy and later kissing” near a “closer group of people” as they attended the birthday party of a friend.
In a March 26 TikTok, Miranda wrote that she’s processing how her “friend group” is now a “waiting room for my ex-husband.”

“It’s not even a betrayal at this point,” she wrote in the caption. “It’s a tradition.” For the post, Miranda featured Kesha‘s song, “Backstabber.”

On Instagram, Miranda also shared a photo of the flowers and apology letter Jessi sent her.
“I completely understand you being upset with me,” said the letter from Jessi, “but [I] wanted to send you a little something to let you know I’m thinking about you and I am so, so sorry.”
Over the photo, Miranda wrote, “Received the prettiest flowers just minutes ago 🙃.”

Soon after, Jordan reacted to the report about Jessi and Chase, shared by @stephwithdadeets on Instagram.
“True colors will always be shown,” wrote Jordan. “Sounds like someone can’t be faithful or loyal even in their friendships.”

In another comment, he denied hiring an escort.
“Never ever ever had an escort,” he said. “Called a stripper for a buddies bachelor party and [Jessi] even knows that – that’s why she never brought it up until she had the opportunity to do Call Her Daddy. So ya. True colors always come out.”
