Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen are set to face off in court after their latest alleged domestic dispute, which resulted in Dakota filing for a restraining order against Taylor.
This news comes fresh on the heels of Dakota appearing in Vanderpump Villa star Alex Cooper‘s YouTube reality show.
According to TMZ, after Dakota filed for the restraining order against Taylor, a judge ordered both of them to appear in court on April 7.
While in court, the on-again-off-again couple will discuss custody and “parent time provisions,” according to court documents.
Due to the temporary protective order a judge awarded Dakota last month, Taylor lost temporary custody of Ever, the son they share.
The new court documents also note that Taylor and Dakota are due to appear at a remote court hearing on April 30 to review “merits and entry” of Dakota’s protective order against Taylor.
As for what led Dakota to filed a protective order, it was due to an alleged fight that was “chaotic” and “frightening.” Dakota alleged Taylor choked him, scratched him, and ripped a necklace off of his neck. Her camp, unsurprisingly, had a different narrative.
“I look at this cast, I’m like, ‘OK, there’s some stuff here that, I would assume, that society still takes very seriously,” Ben continued. “It feels to me almost hypocritical for Taylor Frankie Paul. I don’t agree with what happened there. I think it should have ended. I don’t think the show should have aired.”
“Dakota is out here two weeks later on a new show that is not getting the same type of recourse or questions,” he added.
While Ben stated the video clip from 2023 was “really bad” for Taylor, he insisted Dakota was “not clean in all of this either.”
Due to the leaked 2023 video of Taylor and Dakota fighting, in which Taylor chucked barstools at Dakota, her season of The Bachelorette was canceled.
The newest alleged incident between Taylor and Dakota also resulted in SLOMW being put on pause. There is no information at this time on if the show will ever resume.
