Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge called out Rachel Zoe for questioning her kids about their dad amid her divorce on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The stars also shaded Dorit Kemsley’s “f**king rude” behavior on the show, as Teddi recalled her “first fight” with her in a past season.
In the new season, Rachel seems to continually defend Dorit. Though Boz Saint John and Kyle Richards have voiced their concerns about Dorit’s behavior, Dorit is mad only at Kyle. In a recent dinner, Dorit acknowledged every castmate at the table except newbie Amanda Frances.
“I don’t think [Rachel] was helpful [in] this episode whatsoever,” said former RHOBH castmate Teddi on Two Ts in a Pod, via @housewiveshub on X.
“I’m going to need Rachel to do more,” Tamra agreed. “She said a lot of things kind of under her breath, but she didn’t really say anything out loud. And every time she’s with her kids, she’s got to ask them about their dad. Like, stop!”
Teddi said the kids are probably “over it.”
“Because first of all, it makes the kid uncomfortable,” said Tamra. “And then you put a camera in front of their face and start [asking], ‘So how’s it going with your dad?’ Like it’s every scene, every damn scene.”
“At first it was like wow, okay, they’re really opening up,” Teddi added. “But now it’s like, I feel like it’s too much. We got it. At this point, it feels like Rachel’s annoyed at her ex.”
Tamra shared, “To me, it’s starting to sound like I’m waiting for you to say something bad. … And they’re not teenagers, they’re not in their 20s. Like, they’re young kids.”
“It’s like I’m prepping you,” agreed Teddi.
At one point, Tamra questioned why Rachel didn’t call out Dorit’s “mean girl behavior” when she skipped over Amanda at dinner.
“Because she is Team Dorit,” said Teddi, via @byewighellodrama on Instagram.
“That shocks me,” said Tamra. “Doesn’t that shock you?”
“I think they bond over shopping,” Teddi answered. “And they’re both getting divorced.” She then called out how fans “never see” the closeness between Dorit and Boz.
Later on, Tamra shaded Dorit’s “f**king rude” habit of being continually late to events on the show.
Teddi recalled how her “first fight” with Dorit occurred because she was late to a scene, so Teddi “left.”
“So what was her problem then?” asked Teddi. “What was she going through then that was so brutal?” At a different point in the episode, Teddi shared her belief that Dorit doesn’t “like Kyle.”
Both Teddi and Tamra agreed that Dorit gives Boz a pass, though she won’t with Kyle. What’s more, Tamra said she thinks Dorit tries to paint her husband, PK Kemsley, in a certain light amid their divorce.
