Taylor Frankie Paul’s sister, Aspen May, shared why the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star deactivated her TikTok and Instagram accounts. Plus, a fan captured Taylor’s last repost before shutting down her pages, as her co-stars were spotted filming again (over a month after the show was put on pause).

According to reports, SLOMW castmates halted filming due to an investigation over claims that Taylor physically abused her ex, Dakota Mortensen. But in the last week, prosecutors shared that they won’t be pressing new charges against her. In the wake of this news, sources shared that the show was resuming filming this week and that Taylor will return when she’s ready.

On April 23, fan account @secretlivesupdates reported that Taylor deactivated her TikTok and Instagram accounts, as the account questioned why.

In the comments, Taylor’s sister Aspen supplied an answer.

“Everyone has their breaking point,” wrote Aspen, via @stephwithdadeets on Instagram.

Meanwhile, fan account @Valisvillage documented Taylor’s last repost before she deactivated her account.

“Humble enough to know I am replaceable at work,” read the caption Taylor reposted. “But confident enough to know it would take 3 people.”

Around the same time, Deadline shared a video of SLOMW costars as they were filming at Hulu’s Get Real House, an event celebrating reality TV stars.

In the video, Layla Taylor and Miranda Hope were chatting in a small group as cameras filmed them. This seems to indicate that SLOMW is back up and running.

Earlier this month on Good Morning America, castmate Whitney Leavitt addressed her future on the show.

“We’re figuring it out in real time,” she said at the time. “I don’t really know. I feel sometimes that it’s time to venture out. Like, this is what I’m passionate about.”

Sources later told Page Six: “[The cast] is attempting to pressure ABC to greenlight new episodes by building viewer anticipation [with their posts on social media].”

On Boyfriend Material, Miranda’s ex Chase McWhorter addressed the show’s pause.

“Hoping they [come back],” he said. “All the other women have a bunch of great stories and storylines that haven’t been told … So I think they should, but we’ll see.”
