Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga are both returning for season 15 of the show.

While the sisters-in-laws famously feuded for years and didn’t speak for quite some time, they made amends at the end of last year.

On the April 9 episode of the Couple Things podcast, Teresa bizarrely claimed she wasn’t certain she’d be able to film with Melissa and Joe Gorga for the upcoming season, even though they’re all on it.

“It’s baby steps and we’re not sure if we’re going to film together or not,” Teresa shared. “Bravo hasn’t said anything. But, if we do … there’s a running joke that I don’t watch my show but this time I’m going to definitely watch it.”

She added “Hopefully, we’ll both have each other’s backs. That’s all I want. I love that. I want to show America what my family was really about, how I was raised. My brother and I always had each other’s backs.”

Following the podcast, an insider exclusively spoke to Reality Blurb, calling what Teresa said into question.

“Everyone is completely bewildered why Teresa is trying to say she’s not sure she’s going to film with Joe and Melissa due to Bravo not saying anything,” they stated. “It goes without saying if they’re on RHONJ together – which they will be – they will have to film scenes together.”

The source noted since they’ve “made up” Bravo will “likely feature family scenes.”

“No one is sure why she’s saying this, especially since Bravo confirmed she and Melissa are cast members,” they noted.

“But, if you read her words closely in what she said, she was clear to say she hasn’t watched the show but WILL be watching this season and hopes they can have each other’s backs,” the insider continued. “It definitely shows she’s not 100% confident in their rekindled relationship, given the past, especially as they head into filming.

“Teresa will definitely have her guard up and, in turn, Melissa and Joe likely will have to be very cognizant of what they say, as if their words are minced and offend Teresa… all hell could possibly break loose again and all they worked for to ‘repair’ their relationship could go to complete s*it.”

The source concluded with a tongue-in-cheek statement, sharing, “In true Bravo fashion, we’ll just have to watch what happens.”

Prior to Bravo confirming Teresa, Melissa, and Dolores Catania‘s return to the franchise, Reality Blurb exclusively revealed the news.

“Teresa, Melissa, and Dolores are absolutely coming back,” an insider claimed at the time.

“Fans long believed it would either be Teresa or Melissa due to all of the tension and issues that arose during season 14 with them refusing to talk to one another, but Bravo ended up bringing them both back,” they elaborated. “It absolutely helps that they made up off-camera and are now getting along as a family unit. Bravo stressed during the last season that something needed to change and the cast could not go on like this.”

The source explained that both Teresa and Melissa have “legions of fans” and, due to this, Bravo knew cutting either of them “wouldn’t make sense.”

“As far as Dolores goes, she’s always been neutral, but she’s absolutely a fan and network favorite,” they also shared. “Bravo put her on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island not only because they enjoy her, but also due to her popularity. She’s easy to work with, pleasant, and was the only person able to navigate the very split cast of season 14 of RHONJ without taking sides.”
