Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn slammed Erika Kirk after she was seen crying following a shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner.
As was reported on April 25, shots rang out in the hallway of The Washington Hotel in Washington, D.C. The event ended up being postponed due to the shooting.
Erika was seen in footage on X being escorted out of the venue in tears, claiming she just wanted to “go home.”
Christine shared the footage to her X account, writing, “Erika Kirk leaving the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in tears [saying], ‘I just wanna go home.'”
“Girl … you literally never been home,” she added.

After the shooting, President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to comment on the ordeal.
“Quite an evening in D.C. Secret Service and Law Enforcement did a fantastic job. They acted quickly and bravely,” he stated. “The shooter has been apprehended, and I have recommended that we’‘LET THE SHOW GO ON’ but, will entirely be guided by Law Enforcement. They will make a decision shortly. Regardless of that decision, the evening will be much different than planned, and we’ll just, plain, have to do it again.”
Later in the evening, Weijia Jiang, the president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, made the announcement that the event would be postponed.
“Law enforcement has requested that we leave the premises… [The president] wanted to emphasize that nobody was hurt,” Jiang stated. “The cabinet and the first lady, everybody’s safe. I said earlier tonight that journalism is a public service because when there is an emergency we run toward the crisis, not away from it… I saw all of you reporting and that’s what we do. Thank God everybody is safe and thank you for coming together tonight.”
Aside from her comments on Erika, Christine recently made headlines when it was revealed she was returning to Selling Sunset for the first time since 2022.
“Christine is coming back,” a source dished to Us Weekly on March 13. “[The cast was] supposed to start filming and it has been delayed because they are waiting for her to finish negotiations.”
In February, Christine spoke to Entertainment Tonight and hinted at returning to the show.
“Those conversations kind of happen every year, and there’s interest every year, but I feel like this year was different,” she said.
Christine did share that she was living in Texas currently, but she noted it would be “iconic” for her to return.
“Never say never, right?” she added.
