Summer House star Ciara Miller referred to West Wilson as her “person” in a preview for an upcoming episode of the show.
The episode was taped months prior to West and Amanda Batula‘s scandalous relationship being outed.
“As weird as it is, I do feel like he is my person,” Ciara says to Mia Calabrese in a preview for the upcoming Summer House episode. “We have this really weird friendship, and it’s hard to ignore that, you know?”
In a confessional, Ciara continues discussing the situation, sharing, “Everyone knows that I’m not the most warm and fuzzy person. I am warm. I might not be fuzzy, but I’m warm. I guess making up isn’t really my thing, but I’m trying to be less rigid, which is a theme of my summer, okay?”
Ciara and West had dated in 2023 and broke up, but during the currently airing 10th season, they’re seen still dwelling on potentially being together.
In another part of the trailer, Ciara and Kyle Cooke are seen calling Amanda while she is away. They inform her that West had the “best night” while she wasn’t present.
“When West said, ‘Best night of my life’ and you said, ‘Damn,’ was that, like, sarcasm?” Kyle asks her in the trailer.
Amanda said her response was “like, way to rub salt in the wound.”
“So, she was feeling jealous,” Kyle continues.
“Yeah, West’s best night of his life was the one night I’m not there? Yeah, that feels great,” Amanda continues.
Amanda and West confirmed they were officially an item on March 31.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything. Given the complicated dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” the couple shared in a joint social media statement.
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing that either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” they added.
Amanda and West noted they kept quiet about their relationship as their “feelings evolved” since they wanted to “take time to understand exactly what [they] were feeling.”
“We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless,” they also stated. “We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
At the recently taped season 10 reunion, West and Amanda’s relationship was, unsurprisingly, a hot topic.
In leaked audio from the taping, Ciara blasted Amanda over her actions.
“You’re a f**king snake, Amanda,” Ciara stated. “You’re a snake in the f**king grass is what you are. You’re a snake in the f**king grass, and you should honestly just say okay, because you know you are. You move silent, but you’re f**king deadly.”
