Summer House star Amanda Batula may be the center of controversy due to her relationship with West Wilson, but years ago, she spoke out on another controversial relationship that rocked the Bravo world.
When appearing on Watch What Happens Live in 2023, Amanda addressed Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval‘s affair with Raquel Leviss, which became known as Scandoval.
“My entire news feed was filled with it,” Amanda began when asked for her reaction to Sandoval in the resurfaced clip a Reddit user dug up. “I – my heart goes out to Ariana. I mean, she’s surrounded by her friends, fortunately, but I just – it’s a crappy situation.”
Rachel Lindsay, who starred on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, was also on the same episode of WWHL and shared her thoughts on Scandoval.
“Disgusted by the entire thing,” she said. “It’s like all-encompassing. I wake up thinking about it. I go to bed thinking about it. I can’t stop talking about it.”
“It makes me sick,” Amanda interjected.
“Thinking of Ariana, as well, she’s the absolute sweetest,” Rachel continued. “But… Tom and Raquel. I have so many thoughts. I wish we had more time.”
Kyle Cooke was in the audience of WWHL and also put in his two cents on Scandoval.
“Look, Ariana’s the sweetest,” he said. “My heart goes out to her. I cannot imagine what it’s like to be going through this. To their point, it’s everywhere. You can’t avoid it. So, it sucks.”

While Amanda may have been passionate about how “disgusting” Scandoval is, based on clips from the reunion that leaked, she clearly doesn’t have the same sentiments when addressing her relationship with West.
“Sometimes you can’t help who you like and who you are attracted to,” Amanda shared at the reunion.
When Ciara reminded Amanda she was married, Amanda fired back that she was separated and asked if she had to “stay celibate and single for the rest of my life until the judge signs paperwork?”
Ciara replied, telling her “no one” was insisting she stay celibate, but she noted there are “a million f**king other guys in New York City.”
“You chose the one… You know how much that f**ked me up,” Ciara added. “You chose the one guy.”
“I didn’t choose,” Amanda answered.
“You’re a f**king snake, Amanda,” Ciara then blasted back. “You’re a snake in the f**king grass is what you are. You’re a snake in the f**king grass, and you should honestly just say okay, because you know you are. You move silent, but you’re f**king deadly.”
In another clip that leaked, Amanda griped about people riding her for what they deemed as her bad behavior and not Kyle.
“Kyle’s making out with other people, Kyle’s going out on dates, but let’s come at me for this,” Amanda said, attempting to defend her behavior. “Kyle’s still married. Where’s the hate for him? Where’s the anger for him? We are not together. We are separated.”
