Kim Zolciak Fires Back After Losing Temporary Primary Custody of Kids, Vows to Fight Back With ‘Shocking’ Truth About Kroy and Hints at Videos

A report surfaced yesterday stating Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy alum Kim Zolciak had lost primary custody of her children for now after her ex Kroy Biermann had claimed she was neglectful.

Soon after the news was released, Kim took to social media to slam it as “inaccurate” and “misleading.”

In the initial story, exclusively shared by TMZ, it reported a judge had ruled on Kroy’s emergency motion, temporarily awarding him primary physical custody of the kids he shares with Kim. They also noted Kim would have limited parenting time every other weekend. 

While Kim and Kroy will continue to share joint legal custody of their kids, the report noted Kroy would have the power to make final decisions regarding their education, non-emergency medical matters, and religion.

Last week, Kroy had filed a motion with the court stating Kim is “more selfishly concerned with her own image and her work options” than her children’s wellbeing. He also accused her of neglect, and insisted she was “unstable and unfit.” Due to all of this, he requested an emergency hearing to change the custody of their children.

When speaking to TMZ, Kim insisted the decision was only a temporary one made prior to them getting a full hearing at a future court date, where she insisted the truth will come out. She also said Kroy filed the emergency motion so their case would go before a senior judge rather than their assigned judge, who she stated previously denied Kroy’s requests for immediate hearings due to him filing things she called “false.”

After the story emerged, Kim took to her Instagram Story to fire off another response.”These allegations and accompanying headlines are inaccurate and misleading, both factually and legally,” she wrote. “I continue to share joint legal custody with my children and look forward to addressing these matters in court, where I am confident the record will be clarified and set straight.”Kim noted that, as a “single mother” and the “sole provider” for her six kids, she works hard to “make sure they have medical care, food, and all the necessities they need.””To say that I neglected my children because I went out of the country to work and provide for them is absurd,” she continued. “Any single mother would understand that when you are doing everything on your own, you will do whatever it takes to care for your children and put food on the table. I know the truth, and when the truth comes out, it will shock you.”

Kim also reposted someone praising her parenting to her Instagram Story.

Specifically, they stated Kim is “one of the best moms I’ve ever known.”

“Her kids love her to her core & this judgement will boomerang,” they elaborated. “Just wait until the videos come out. She’s done her best to protect her kids throughout this process.”

At this time, Kim and Kroy remain in the throes of a bitter divorce.
