This morning, a teaser was released for the upcoming Real Housewives of New York City spinoff, The Golden Life.

The clip begins with Luann de Lesseps saying, “To our friends in New York City, wish you were here.”

After some quick clips of drama, Dorinda Medley is seen sharing that they’ve been “mostly keeping quiet” as things in Palm Beach, where The Golden Life will take place, “move at a slower tempo.”

Ramona Singer is seen soon after, revealing it’s been “great meeting people” their own age.

As would be expected with the RHONY alums, almost all of what they’re saying is tongue-in-cheek. For example, right after Ramona claims it’s been great meeting people their own age, we see Sonja Morgan insisting she “can’t do 22 again” as it’s “exhausting.”

“I had to teach him everything he knows,” she adds. “Like I don’t get on top.”

“Zen comes so easy here,” Kelly Bensimon says later in the clip, right before we see clips of arguments between Ramona and Luann, and Sonja and Luann.

“He wanted to marry me, not you,” Luann tells Sonja, likely referencing Tom D’Agostino, Luann’s short-lived ex-husband, who infamously cheated on her at The Regency.

“He asked me to marry him, too,” Sonja responds.

“Thank you, Sonja, that’s really lovely of you,” Luann fires back before getting up to exit from the table they’re at.

Sonja is then seen in a confessional saying, “We don’t stir things up anymore,” before a scene of her telling Kelly to “shut up” is shown.

“Consider this your invitation,” the women all say as the teaser comes to an end, confirming the show will premiere this fall.

On February 3, E! News officially confirmed the show was coming.

“Bound by decades of shared history, fallouts and friendship, this fan-favorite group of New Yorkers are starting fresh together in the Sunshine State,” they shared at the time. “In this new ‘golden’ era of life, the longtime friends are thriving in and around Palm Beach with fabulous second homes and a bustling social scene. With their signature humor and non-stop hijinks, the series will follow the group as they navigate dating, family, and career milestones.”

While Jill Zarin was initially due to star in the series, after she made comments about Bad Bunny‘s Super Bowl halftime show performance that were deemed racist, she was fired.

“In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in ‘The Golden Life,'” Blink49 Studios, the production company behind the show, announced in a statement to Variety on February 10. “We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”
