Lala Kent shared her regret over breaking the fourth wall on Vanderpump Rules, revealed if she’s close with any of her former castmates, and addressed what it was like to film The Valley.
On her last season of Pump Rules, Lala broke the fourth wall as she slammed co-stars for not being authentic. At one point, she suggested that Katie Maloney wasn’t sharing her true feelings about Ariana Madix. At the time, fans were in an uproar over Tom Sandoval’s affair with Rachel Leviss, and they criticized Lala for questioning Ariana. Recently, Lala joined the cast of Pump Rules’ spinoff, The Valley, which features some stars from the original show.
On Boyfriend Material, Lala shared what it was like filming The Valley.
“I think it’s great. It was definitely a transition going from what I had been used to for a long time and then landing on this show, where it was relatively new,” she explained, via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram. “But I had a wonderful time filming.”
“I think people are into it,” she said. “There’s a lot of people on the cast, so a lot of stuff to keep up with. But, can I tell you, I am just in my own little world these days.”
As for whether she wants to do it again, Lala said, “You know what? I live my life right now one day at a time, you know? It’s like sobriety.”
Later on, Lala was asked if she stands by her decision to break the fourth wall on Pump Rules, or if she felt pressure to save the show.
“There was no pressure of saving the show. I knew that it was done. I wish I would have shut the f**k up,” she said. “I should have just looked at the producer and said I’m not doing anything. … It was a combination of so many different things that I was so f**king chaotic. One of my bigger regrets.”
But is Lala close with any of her ex-co-stars?
“No,” she answered. When asked if she loves them or hates them, Lala stated, “I’m very indifferent.”
New episodes of The Valley air on Wednesday nights on Bravo.
