Ladies of London: The New Reign and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Misse Bequiri‘s ex, Jake Hall, has died at the age of 35.
Jake was in Majorca, Spain, when he passed away at a villa party.
According to The Sun, police found Jake in a pool of blood with fatal head wounds caused by shards of glass after he reportedly smashed his head through a glass door.
“Witnesses told investigators he had been out partying all night and decided to carry on the party back at the place he was renting,” a source detailed. “It appears from what police have been told that he became agitated, possibly from alcohol and other substances he may have consumed.”
The insider noted things “turned aggressive” at one point, and Jake possibly “tried to harm himself by banging his head against things.”
Neighbors claimed they heard “loud noises” that made the walls vibrate prior to police arriving on the scene.
“I began to hear a very loud noise, as if they were drilling something,” one neighbor stated. “They stopped after about five minutes and then I fell asleep.”
Police have talked to four men and two women who were staying at the house, and they told them they’d been out that night and continued to party once they got back to the house.
“We are focusing on the theory the victim died in a tragic accident after hitting his head against the glass door but it is still too early to say definitely what happened,” a police insider detailed.
To date, no arrests have been made, and an autopsy is due to take place in Palma, the Majorcan capital.
A Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office spokesperson released a statement, sharing, “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities.”
Misse also spoke out via a representative, stating, “At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss. The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately.”
Misse and Jake began dating in 2016, had a daughter in 2017, and got engaged in 2018. They ended up breaking up in 2021.
Hours before he passed away, Jake, who also once starred on TOWIE (The Only Way is Essex), shared a final post on Instagram.
Over video footage of him partying, he eerily wrote the following caption: “Life is bollocks sometimes but I’m gonna try remember the good things – looking through things – I’m just making art – in many forms.”
