Vanderpump Rules alum James Kennedy may be well known as a DJ, but he’s about to add father to his list of jobs, according to a new report.
James has been dating a new woman for around seven months, and sources have confirmed she’s pregnant with his baby.
According to TMZ, James and his girlfriend celebrated their baby news with a themed gathering with those closest to them. His new girlfriend is not a public figure, and she has managed to avoid the press and the limelight to date.
James has had a number of issues in the past, both with alcohol and with women.
In December 2024, while dating Ally Lewber, James was arrested for a domestic violence incident.
According to a report shared by TMZ at the time, a witness said an argument took place between James and an unnamed woman, where he allegedly grabbed the woman. Once police arrived on the scene, no injuries were seen on the woman, who turned out to be Ally.
After investigating, police determined a domestic incident had taken place, and James ended up being taken into custody and subsequently released on $20,000 bail.
In a police report that Reality Blurb obtained, cops said that they made contact with a “male and female inside of a residence.”
“Female stated that her boyfriend lifted her up and threw her to the ground,” a part of it read. They also claimed the charge against James was “domestic battery upon spouse/co-habitant.”
A few days after the incident, Ally finally broke her silence.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me. I’m okay and taking the time I need right now,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.”
As the month continued, James ended up posting to his Instagram Story to share an update.
“I am committed to making meaningful changes in my life. I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for my loved ones. Navigating challenging moments is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow, and move forward with the incredible support system around me,” he wrote at the time.
While it was unknown if Ally would end up returning to James, she did end up moving her things out of his home and breaking up with him.
James has not appeared on television since early 2024, when the original cast of Vanderpump Rules was last featured on Bravo.
