Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard is reportedly still angry with Amanda Batula amid her relationship with West Wilson.
She is also reportedly not communicating with either of them.
“Lindsay is not talking to West or Amanda,” a source told Us Weekly. They also noted West “did not reach out to her” after the season 10 reunion wrapped taping last month.
They added that Lindsay is “still upset with Amanda about how she handled things with Kyle and how she lied to Ciara” and that Lindsay’s unsure if these feelings “will be forever.”
On the reunion, which fans will see in a few weeks, the insider noted Lindsay “gave her two cents to West and Amanda,” specifically “about how poorly they handled the situation and how they betrayed Ciara.”
Lindsay is also gearing up for the premiere of the Summer House spin-off In The City, which begins on May 19.
“It was a big shock to the system,” Lindsay said of the new show in an interview with Vulture. “For Summer House, we film on the weekends, we’re in the Hamptons, there’s surveillance cameras everywhere, we’re throwing parties, we’re drinking rosé, and it’s more chill. Whereas In The City is filmed more in line with most other Bravo shows. For the first month of filming, I had to rewire my entire brain of ten years of filming Summer House to a different format. It’s really about our day-to-day lives and what we experience as these adults trying to make big life decisions.”
Lindsay also talked about the new show in a video shared on Bravo’s Instagram last month.
“Summer House is so fun. We’re in the Hamptons, partying, secluded to the house, whereas now we’re just in the next chapter of our lives,” she stated. “It is all the good, the bad, the ups, the downs, the challenges that we face trying to figure out how to be real-life adults.”
On the new show, Lindsay insisted she had Amanda’s back, and they became “very close.”
In The City was filmed before West and Amanda’s relationship was confirmed on March 31, but cameras reportedly picked back up to tape more after the news came out.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” Amanda and West said in a joint statement at the time. “It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything. Given the complicated dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing that either of us expected,” they added. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
As for why they didn’t come forward sooner, the pair noted their “feelings evolved” as they wanted to “take time to understand exactly what [they] were feeling.”
“We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless,” they also stated. “We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
