Summer House star Ciara Miller is following in the footsteps of Vanderpump Rules alum Ariana Madix, as it’s been revealed Ciara is joining Love Island USA as a co-host.
Ciara’s specific role will be co-hosting the Love Island USA companion series Aftersun.
According to Deadline, Ciara will co-host the show alongside Tefi Pessoa.
With her new gig, it remains unclear if she will return to Summer House for season 11. Summer House typically films from July 4 and wraps on Labor Day in September. Love Island USA‘s eighth season is set to premiere June 2 and run through mid-July.
Deadline noted it is possible Ciara could do her hosting gig and then join Summer House weeks later.
Ariana, for her part, is set to return as the host of the main series.
After Ariana was betrayed by her ex Tom Sandoval, who cheated on her with their friend Rachel “Raquel” Leviss during their stint on Vanderpump Rules, Ariana got a spot on Dancing with the Stars, starred in Chicago on Broadway, and, ultimately, became host of Love Island USA.
Ciara, who was betrayed by her friend Amanda Batula, who slept with Ciara’s on-again-off-again love interest, West Wilson, is also set to appear on the upcoming Dancing with the Stars season.
Ciara has been in the news a lot since Amanda and West confirmed their relationship on March 31 in a joint statement on social media.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything. Given the complicated dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” they stated at the time.
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing that either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” they added.
Amanda and West explained that they kept quiet about the relationship as their “feelings evolved” because they wanted to “take time to understand exactly what [they] were feeling.”
“We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless,” they also said. “We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
