Bravo revealed the Next Gen NYC season two trailer at the NBC Upfronts, and it looks like fans are in for a wild ride chock-full of drama.
The second season, which is due to premiere June 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, will see the following cast members returning: Ariana Biermann, Riley Burruss, Emira D’Spain, Brooks Marks, Ava Dash, Gia Giudice, Georgia McCann, Charlie Zakkour, Shai Fruchter, and Hudson McLeroy.
Newcomers Rowan Henchy, Liam Obergfoll, and Kendall White will also be joining the show.
“Next Gen NYC is back for Season 2, and it’s anything but chill,” an official announcement for the second season stated. “The pace is faster, the hustle is louder, and for this New York City crew, life in the city that never sleeps is a full-on reality check. From first real apartments and lingering scandals to messy breakups, shifting friendships and new romances, everyone’s trying to build a life that feels authentic — but also aesthetic.”
“Eager to carve out their own identities, they’re determined to make it on their own terms while also navigating the pressure to curate the right vibe, the right circles, and a feed that keeps up with the life they’re chasing,” it continued. “In a world driven by image, ambition, and constant visibility, they quickly learn that making it is one thing – holding onto it, and each other, is another.”
The trailer covered a breadth of topics, including Ariana and Hudson’s split. One person noted that, due to Ariana not being with Hudson, it would be the “prime time to f*ck Charlie Zakkour.”
However, at a group dinner, Charlie is seen stating that he and Ariana “have not had sex.”
Other cast members are seen shipping Charlie and Ariana, with Riley calling them a “new dynamic duo,” and Gia comparing them to the infamous kiss scene from Disney’s Lady and the Tramp.
Charlie is later seen on speakerphone, with someone asking him if he hooked up with Ariana. The preview, unfortunately, did not show his response.
Hudson, for his part, is shown sharing that he believes he and Ariana will get back together.
Another notable part of the trailer was actress Brooke Shields being featured, as she is new cast member Rowan’s mom.
Brooks and Charlie were also seen having a spat, and Charlie tells Brooks, “F*ck your Dad.”
When the season begins airing, it definitely appears viewers will be in for a crazy ride, chock-full of intense drama.
