K. Michelle said she wanted Angela Oakley to introduce her to the Real Housewives of Atlanta, and shared why. The star also responded to the claim that she had a “nervous breakdown” on camera, and shared where she stands with Porsha Williams.
In a recent episode, Michelle shed tears as she shared that her castmates – including Porsha, who introduced her to the group – were plotting to spread a false story about her. After the episode aired, some fans argued that Michelle should have addressed the costars more directly.
On Virtual Reali-Tea, Michelle claimed that plotting is “who [Porsha] is.”
“That’s why I was already skeptical about even walking in [to the group] period,” said Michelle. “I know we have people that are brought into the show [through] this and that, but I was going to be on the show without [Porsha]. That wasn’t about you.”
“I actually wanted to be brought in by Angela, because we had started to form a relationship,” she added. “When I was told [it would be] Porsha … [I thought], ‘I’m going to go in with the open mind and I’m going to watch for myself the behavior.’ And the behavior is as I thought.”
Michelle said Porsha was trying to be a “producer.”
Around the same time on X, Michelle reacted to a fan speculating that she had a “nervous breakdown” when she cried in the recent episode.
“I’m not having no damn nervous break down,” she wrote. “Girls got on there and tried to produce a show by poking me. I found out and got ahead of it and called it out. Keep your Dr. Bryant opinions. I’m the one watching everything. I have never played on tv.”
On Hot 97, Michelle again accused her costars of “plotting” to “poke” her and make her “react.”
“I was told [this],” said Michelle, via @mrhousewives on Instagram. “Then I watched. I watched everything. I watched it unfold. I watched the little jabs. I watched everything going on.”
“[People said] K’s too sensitive for the show. No, I’m tough as hell,” she said. “I’m a tough one. The only reason when I’m mad and I’m crying is because I know I can’t slap you.”
Later on, Michelle was asked where she stands with Porsha now.
“F**k her,” she said. “We’re dealing with a woman who for years has been getting caught lying to people every year.”… I feel like, you know, she feels like it’s her show.”
