Todd Chrisley’s daughter, Lindsie Chrisley, was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence last week in Cherokee County, Georgia. Lindsie is best known from her family’s reality show, Chrisley Knows Best.
Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley (Lindsie’s stepmom), were pardoned last year by President Donald Trump after being found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion. They were in prison for two years each, though their sentences were set for 19 years combined.
According to records via PEOPLE, Lindsie got arrested around 10:25 p.m. on May 23 in Georgia. She was booked that night into the sheriff’s office for Cherokee County, and they released her on May 24 after she posted bond. Records indicate that she left around 4:15 a.m.
Per the Cherokee County Jail, she was arrested for improper passing, DUI less safe, trying to elude the police, speeding, and reckless driving. In the state of Georgia, a “DUI less safe” means that, even if your blood alcohol concentration is less than 0.08%, you can be charged for driving under the influence.
The county jail said her bail was $680 for the improper passing, $1,355 for DUI less safe, $2,006 for speeding, and $565 for the reckless driving.
Lindsie later commented to TMZ, “I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was. … [I plan to] fight the charge.”
Lindsie’s reps didn’t immediately issue a response to PEOPLE.
Last month, Lindsie’s boyfriend, David Landsman, also got arrested. At the time, PEOPLE obtained an arrest warrant affidavit claiming he was charged with felony aggravated assault/strangulation and misdemeanor battery.
They booked him on April 10 at the Cherokee County Jail, where he was eventually released. David was accused of applying pressure after putting his hands around someone’s neck and telling the person that they were “not going anyway.” He also allegedly pushed this person out of a home in Woodstock, Georgia, which caused them to hit their head on the concrete during the fall.
After his arrest, Lindsie shared that she was taking a vow of celibacy for a year.
