Kelli Potter addressed Porsha Williams’ allegation that she slept with a married pastor, claiming Phaedra Parks knew him. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star also addressed a claim that she’s secretly upset at Cynthia Bailey for hiring her former stylist.
In the latest episode, Porsha accused Kelli of having sex with a married preacher. Phaedra seemed to suggest that she knew who he was. After the episode aired, fans combed through Phaedra’s socials for any pastors she’s posted. Though Phaedra has communicated with several pastors in the past, some fans speculated that she was allegedly talking about Gizelle Bryant’s ex-husband, Pastor Jamal Bryant, without any evidence.
In a recent social media video, Kelli addressed the allegation.
“I have people sending me messages about their families and their congregations,” said the RHOA star. “I want no parts of this, right? Y’all ain’t gonna get me banned from church.”
“I want to still be able to go to church, and I want to still be able to praise and worship, okay?” she said. “So this list that’s going around and you guys tagging these pastors and tagging congregations, it has to stop. Enough is enough. I don’t play it. I don’t like it. It’s not fun. And these are people’s real livelihoods. And I have had to deal with someone affecting my real livelihood on this show.”
She told people to “cut it out.”
“I’m not a part of the Mile High Club. I’m not interested in a pastor. I’m not interested in sleeping with anybody’s husband. I am very much happy with who I’m with,” she said. “Y’all got this whole list of pastors going around. Y’all got pastors sending me messages and DMs and emails and at congregation. … I will deal with Freak and Fraud at reunion.”
Kelli was seemingly referring to Phaedra and Porsha as “Freak and Fraud.”
“Pastor Jamal Bryant … I want to clear that up too,” she said. “I went to Pastor Jamal Bryant’s church when it was in a … in a college auditorium, okay? This man actually renewed my 10-year vow renewals to my ex-husband. … Kandi, come back down here, because these hoes is lying.”
In an interview for No Chaser TV, Kelli was asked if her issues with Cynthia were triggered because Cynthia is now using her former stylist. (On a recent episode, Kelli was upset that Cynthia put them in a filthy room, though Cynthia later suggested that the issue must be about something else.)
“No, who cares [about that]?” she asked, via @housewivesfromahousewife on Instagram. “[There are] 20,000 stylists. I wouldn’t care. And Cynthia looks good, by the way. I love it. … You have one stylist, you’ve had them all. No, it has nothing to do with the stylist. I’m not that type of person. I mean, people pass around stylists like they pass around men.”
She said the real issue was the dirty “condition of the room” on the cast trip, as it “took some time” for that to get “handled.”
