Ashley Iaconetti revealed the one text that she didn’t respond to from Kelsey Swanson, as Ashley clapped back at her co-star’s recent claims. She also shared more information about Jo-Ellen Tiberi’s accusations against Rulla Pontarelli’s husband, Brian Pontarelli.
During the premiere season of Real Housewives of Rhode Island, Jo-Ellen brought up video evidence allegedly proving that Brian was still having an affair with another woman. But Rulla and Brian denied it, claiming his relationship with the woman was over.
In a recent interview, Kelsey suggested that Ashley doesn’t communicate with the cast, and she never responds to Kelsey’s DMs.
On Chicks in the Office, Ashley was asked about Kelsey’s claim.
Ashley responded by handing her phone to the podcast host, letting her read the message exchange with Kelsey.
As the host read the messages, she confirmed that Ashley “replied” to most everything Kelsey sent.
“There was one [message when Kelsey] was like, ‘What dress are you wearing tomorrow?'” Ashley recalled. “And I didn’t respond.”
“That, that’s really it,” the host agreed, scrolling through the messages. “And then like one that doesn’t really warrant a response.”
Ashley said Kelsey’s claim was also “odd to hear” because she made it seem like Kelsey had “invited me out,” which she’s “never” done.
“Have I invited you out? No. But it’s [a] two-way street,” she said. Regarding who she’s closest to in the cast, Ashley first named Rosie DiMare. But she also shared that she’s had dinners with Rulla and Alicia, despite Kelsey’s insinuation that she “knew” that Ashley “hadn’t talked to anyone” on the show.
Later on, Ashley shared more details about Jo-Ellen’s claims against Brian.
“What I believe now is that a lot of the information that Rulla was getting was true and existed — the content — but that it was all outdated,” shared Ashley. “And Rulla was very aware that he had an affair. Like, she’s not denying that he had an affair. She’s just saying that at the time, like over last summer, that it was over.”
“And [that] the mistress is very, she’s a little thirsty,” she went on. “I would think that she may want to be on camera. And I’m sure I’ll probably get a DM after this, you know. But it’s like, the woman is involved. … I think there’s an NDA where she actually can’t [film]. … I think that woman’s not allowed to talk about any of this.”
Ashley said she’ll support Rulla in whatever she “decides to do” in her marriage.
