The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Kelly Dodd gave an explosive new interview that touched on a breadth of topics.
Some of the crazier topics she addressed included how she believes she got fired from RHOC due to her behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic, her admitting to getting the COVID vaccine, and making shocking new remarks about her current archnemesis, Dr. Dhivya Srinivasa.
“Andy Cohen said that people are — the cancel culture is calling for my firing, and they’re… anyway, they fired me, and they brought Heather Dubrow back,” Kelly began sharing on Jamie Kennedy‘s Hate To Break It To Ya podcast.
“In my fifth year, they fired me because of COVID, because I was traveling,” she continued. “I wouldn’t wear a mask. I was anti-mask, anti-vax, anti-everything.”
Kelly then shockingly copped to getting the vaccine.
“I f*cking caved,” she stated before admitting that her husband, Rick Leventhal, also got the shot.
“I was traveling with Fletcher Jones on their mega-superyacht, and so I was in Bahamas… He kind of made me do it,” Kelly added, noting she figured the COVID vaccine would be “like the flu shot.”
“I didn’t know it was going to be a pathway of myocarditis, Bell’s palsy… I had no idea it was a pathway to trigger certain diseases like cancer, like heart problems,” she elaborated.
Kelly also noted she “can’t believe” she took the jab and it “really bothers her.”
She later addressed Dhivya, calling her “that Indian doctor.”
Kelly claimed she “reacted to her because she came after me, and then I’m the one who got blamed,” as Jamie told her to just call her “doctor,” claiming that saying Indian would not look good.
“I’m not racist. It is what it is. That’s what she is!” she continued, noting that Dhivya says she’s an immigrant. “I’m an Indian, too! I wouldn’t… get offended if someone said the Mexican. I’m sorry! You can call me Mexican all the time. I wouldn’t — when I was in Arizona… my girlfriend goes, ‘I’ll just tell them that you’re my maid.’ I don’t get offended by that. Why is that offensive? It is what it is. It’s an actual fact.”
Kelly refused to backpedal, saying she was called a racist by Dhivya for calling her an Indian, so now she wants to call her “Indian doctor.”
“Dot, not feather,” she shockingly added, continuing to insist she’s not racist.
