The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans were shocked yesterday when it was revealed that Teresa Giudice‘s daughter, Milania, was arrested for assault in a domestic violence case.
Teresa broke her silence on Instagram this morning, posting for the first time since the news broke.
She simply reposted a post on her Instagram Story from her husband, Luis Ruelas, that showed a stone that said “Sempre Insieme,” which means “always together” in English.
He also put the location as “home sweet home” and tagged Teresa in the post.
As Reality Blurb reported, Milania, 20, was taken into police custody by Montville Township police after she was reportedly involved in a domestic incident on May 14 that took place around 6:12 p.m.
Teresa’s daughter was charged with “simple assault” and “purposely/ knowingly causing a bodily injury.”
A court spokesperson spoke to The Sun and informed them that the case had been classified as domestic violence. A hearing was held on May 19, but no plea was entered.
Milania took to her Instagram page to share a cryptic post after the news of her arrest broke.
She shared a quote that reads, “None of us sit high enough to look down on anybody. Be humble.”
After the initial reports broke, an insider spoke to Reality Blurb to give more insight into Milania’s arrest.
“There was an explosive fight in the house where things escalated,” the source shared, detailing what happened.
“There was so much going on that her sister ended up pulling the trigger to call the cops on her,” they continued. “It was out of fear for people’s safety and for the fact that Milania was going at multiple people.”
Filming is currently taking place for season 15 of RHONJ. Teresa is one of the three women from the season 14 cast returning, along with Dolores Catania and Melissa Gorga. It remains unknown at this time if Milania’s arrest will be discussed on the show or not.
