While The Real Housewives of New Jersey world is still reeling over the news that Teresa Giudice‘s daughter, Milania, was arrested, details surrounding the situation have remained relatively scarce.
Now, an insider has come forward to Reality Blurb to exclusively spill a little more information on what went down.
“Milania was going at one of her sisters,” the source explained. “Luis [Ruelas] got involved to try to stop her/calm her down, and he had to restrain her.”
“While it’s unknown if she did hit him, anyone being restrained likely would try to get free, and it’s completely plausible he could have gotten hit in the process,” they added.
“Due to the situation going on, another sister got very nervous and picked up the phone and called the cops,” the insider concluded. “At this time, it remains unknown if she did this on her own free will or if Luis instructed her to call the police.”
An insider previously divulged other details about the ordeal to Reality Blurb, noting there was “an explosive fight in the house where things escalated.”
“There was so much going on that her sister ended up pulling the trigger to call the cops on her,” they elaborated. “It was out of fear for people’s safety and for the fact that Milania was going at multiple people.”
As was reported earlier today, Milania, 20, was taken into police custody by Montville Township police after her involvement in a domestic incident on May 14 that occurred around 6:12 p.m.
Milania ended up getting charged with “simple assault” and “purposely/knowingly causing a bodily injury.”
A court spokesperson spoke to The Sun and revealed the case had been classified as domestic violence. While a hearing was held on May 19, no plea was entered.
To date, Milania, Bravo, and Teresa have yet to comment directly on the situation.
Earlier today, it was reported that the RHONJ cast thinks Luis was Milania’s assault victim.
“The first question everyone asked was, ‘Was it Luis?’” an insider dished to Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice on June 13. “He’s very controversial, so that’s where the speculation immediately went.”
“Nobody knows who was allegedly injured, but a lot of people assumed he could be involved,” they continued.
Another source added that everyone “thinks it is Luis. The secrecy is creating more questions than answers.”
Filming for season 15 of RHONJ is currently underway, and it remains unknown if this will be a topic on this season or not.
