Lindsay Hubbard revealed whether she sees a path forward in her friendship with Amanda Batula, and she shared more details on Amanda’s timeline with West Wilson. The Summer House star also explained how West “posted my daughter” as a “decoy” amid his secret romance with Amanda.
In a one-on-one scene for Summer House: The Aftermath, Lindsay claimed that West told Ciara at a bar called PJ Clarks that Amanda was “obsessed” with him, suggesting that she was the one who pursued their controversial romance. But Amanda denied this, hinting it was the other way around. At the time, Amanda was best friends with West’s ex, Ciara Miller, who still had feelings for him.
On Gabbing with Gib, Lindsay was asked if she sees a path forward in her friendship with Amanda.
“Look, I told her when I saw her [for the one-on-one], and I’ll say it again: The people that I carry in my life — cause I don’t have a lot of time … [for] social friends…” she said. “In order to be in my life, you have to have integrity and character and honesty and loyalty.”
“And if you don’t have those things, then you cannot participate in my life as a friend,” she said. When asked if the implication is that Amanda doesn’t have those things, Lindsay responded, “People can make their own decisions in life, but at this moment in time, I would say it’s not an implication; it’s pretty obvious.”
On June 17, a fan asked on Threads, “Who knows the date of the PJ Clarks? Do we think Amanda knew about Ciara and West meeting up? We need to circle back on that.”
Lindsay then answered, “PJ’s was March 6th (Friday). The same day we filmed ‘Hot Ones’ and Amanda dipped out before we even wrapped.”
“We then went to InStyle to do social stuff and me/Mia/West went to PJ’s after for a drink and a bite. Mia surprised us with Ciara meeting up (let’s goo / boss move) and [Ciara and West] went in the back to talk,” she added. “When they came back to the table, we all left and went to my apt to hang with Gemma. West posted my daughter that night as a decoy while simultaneously going to meet up with Amanda right after.”
