Summer House stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson were spotted jetting off to another wedding.
The news comes fresh on the heels of it being confirmed that West will not be returning for the eleventh season of the show.
According to a Deuxmoi post, a person submitted the following tip:
“Hi Deux!” a tipster wrote in alongside a photo of Amanda and West in the airport. “Anon pls! One of the [blank] is getting married.”
“I know a friend of a friend who is attending!” they continued. “Guess who is officiating their wedding… none other than West ‘I can’t commit’ Wilson, and Amanda is his plus 1. Apparently they’ve already stated there is a no-phone policy and everyone has to put their phone in a box before the wedding, so I hope we get pics/videos somehow. Just wanted to share the irony of someone who has never been loyal officiating the happiest day of someone’s life built on loyalty and commitment LOL!”
Deuxmoi captioned the post with the following: “‘Summer House’ cast members Amanda Batula & West Wilson spotted touching down for a wedding weekend. Please note this email was submitted anonymously and cannot be verified. However, we had reported a couple months ago about a wedding West was allegedly officiating.”
TMZ spoke with insiders connected to the show on June 15, who claimed West was not asked back for next season and thus will not be present when the show starts taping on the Fourth of July weekend.
The sources noted it is possible he could appear for a cameo if he is still dating Amanda.
The news came after Lindsay Hubbard had suggested West had been fired from the series.
“The fact that West wants The Knicks to lose so they play game 6 and less people will then watch the Summer House bonus episode… does this man even want a job next season?” Lindsay asked in a June 13 Threads post.
She was referring to West revealing he hoped the New York Knicks lost game five of their championship series so that a sixth game would air on the same night the bonus episode of Summer House is set to air. His thought was that people would be paying attention to the Knicks, then, rather than Summer House.
Lindsay then added, “Too late,” seemingly suggesting that he wasn’t asked to return to the show.
