Margaret Josephs addressed her past relationship with Siggy Flicker – amid claims that Margaret “stabbed her in the back.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey star also revealed what she once overheard Siggy say at a restaurant.
In the past, Siggy has shared that Margaret fostered friendships with production on the RHONJ and was protected in the editing room. Margaret has since slammed Siggy in the press. In a past episode, Margaret, in an argument with Siggy, made a shocking analogy about Adolf Hitler. At the time, Siggy was the only Israeli American in the cast.
On Get Real with Kim DePaola, Margaret recalled her past relationship with Siggy after Kim addressed the claim that Margaret “stabbed her in the back.”
“[Siggy and I] lived in the same town. I never socialized with her,” said Margaret. “I saw her in town. I’d say hi to her. I would cringe when she would walk in somewhere, like most people would … because she was very loud.”
“She was known as embarrassing,” Margaret continued. “People mocked her, truthfully, for her behavior. I always thought she was very pretty, though. She just wasn’t my cup of tea. … Years before, I heard her in a restaurant telling someone at a table, ‘I’m going to be bigger than Oprah,’ which I thought was very funny. People found her ridiculous.”
Back in 2024, Siggy shared her own thoughts about Margaret.
“There’s something about [Margaret] that irked me from day one. She came on the show as a liar; she came on the show as a cheater,” said Siggy at the time on Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef. “She came on the show with copyright infringements, she came on the show as the Vineyard Vine whale. Not for me. Everything in my life, I’m gonna own it. If I fall flat on my face, I’m gonna say, listen guys, I really tried my best, but I failed. It didn’t work. If you can’t come and show me your authentic self and you have to pretend that you are this, I’m such a successful this and that, I’m like, wait, what?”
“The second most disgusting, horrific thing is when my beautiful daughter comes home and says my mother is getting DMs from Margaret Josephs,” Siggy added. “Margaret Josephs is reaching out to my mother, knowing that these kids just suffered a horrible divorce, and they were young, and I have four children.”
