Amid rumors that Leva Bonaparte will not return to Southern Hospitality for season five, Joe Bradley announced that he’s joining a “new” hospitality group that works with Craig Conover and Austen Kroll from Southern Charm.
Earlier this week, rumors surfaced that Leva won’t be a part of the upcoming cast shakeup. For the first four seasons, the entire show centered on the staff working at Leva’s restaurants and bars. Recently, Leva unfollowed Joe and his castmate TJ Dinch on Instagram, shading them as “f**king losers.”
In a July 23 Instagram post, Joe announced that he’s joining a “new” hospitality group.
“Excited to officially announce that I’m joining Uptown Hospitality Group and calling Share House my new home,” wrote Joe in the caption, next to photos of himself in a Share House hat. “This is a huge step in my career and an opportunity I’ve been working toward for a long time.”
“I’m incredibly excited to continue growing in hospitality, take on more responsibility, and keep learning from an amazing team as I work toward my goal of opening venues of my own,” he continued. “I’ll also have the opportunity to work across all of Uptown Hospitality Group’s incredible venues here in Charleston.”
One of the venues Joe mentioned specifically was By the Way, which is a bar owned by Craig and Austen.
Joe shared that he’s excited for the new chapter.
“I’m beyond grateful to everyone who has supported me, believed in me, and helped me get to this point,” he said. “This next chapter is one I’m incredibly excited for. Charleston… let’s have some fun! More big announcements to come.”
In the comments, Austen wrote, “Joe Bradley, come on downnnn 👏 👏 Proud of you for making, what I’m sure was, a difficult decision for your future. Very excited to see you thrive within the group.”
Amid the recent rumors, a source exclusively confirmed to Reality Blurb that Southern Hospitality is having a major cast shake-up.
“The show is going to see some cast members fired, some still there,” said the source at the time, “and a fresh look that fans will not see coming.”
