Lindsay Hubbard posted a photo of herself and Carl Radke in bed together, as she hinted cryptically at getting a “hotel room for 3 hours.” The co-stars also addressed why they reconciled their friendship, and they recalled when Summer House put a secret camera in a cereal box.

For many years after Carl broke off his engagement to Lindsay (shortly before their wedding), Lindsay had little to do with him, though she often called him out on camera. Earlier this year, however, the exes became friends again, which surprised many fans.

In a recent Instagram post shared by u/AccountantTerrible72 on Reddit, Lindsay dropped a photo of herself with Carl in bed.

“Kinda chic to get a hotel room for 3 hours,” wrote Lindsay over the photo, “and go back to LAX for a 6am flight.”

Around the same time, at an FYC panel in Los Angeles, Lindsay shared that Summer House “put a camera in the pantry” in season three after Carl “tried to make out with Paige in the pantry.”

“They built [the camera] into a cereal box,” Carl added, “to make it look like food.”

Lindsay went on, “There is literal cameras in the corners and microphones that make sure you’re going to get your story the way it’s happening. And we have to, you know, navigate that as our group of friends. … [We’re not] colluding and making a plan with each other. We don’t have that opportunity.”

Carl then shared how Tom Schwartz from Vanderpump Rules reacted the first time he filmed a crossover episode for Summer House.

“Schwartz was like, ‘Dude, this is how you film?’ He couldn’t believe [it],” said Carl, via @thetalkofshame on Instagram. “They were like, ‘That’s not how we do it. … There’s cameras in the bedroom?’ … You couldn’t hide.”

In a red-carpet interview with Decider, Lindsay shared that she and Carl “became friends again” by poking fun at Kyle Cooke‘s famous quote about how “Carl’s a mess” amid the controversy surrounding Amanda Batula‘s relationship with West Wilson.

“We did an Uber Eats commercial kind of poking fun at the whole ‘Carl’s a mess,'” said Carl. “And it was a really fun commercial.”

On August 15, the co-stars also shared a photo on Instagram of Lindsay sitting on Carl’s lap for Deadline’s Contenders TV Nominees portrait studio.
