Throughout the season, Kat and Cooper were going strong in their romance, and he even planned out a romantic date for her. Kat shared that, in the past, it’s been hard for her to trust guys, so it was nice to find a gentleman who treats women well.
But in the recent episode, Cooper seemed to ignore her as he flirted openly with other women. He then told multiple crewmates that he needed to be honest and end things with Kat because he was feeling too much pressure. But when they finally had a one-on-one, Cooper convinced her to keep their romance a secret from the rest of the crew and pretend they were broken up.
In a recent video on social media, Kat addressed her status with Cooper today.
“Yeah, me and Cooper are definitely not together,” she said, via @realityrecapwithmarissa on Instagram. “The episode was really, really hard to watch.”
But Kat said she’s still “sending my love” to him despite everything that happened.
“It’s been so long since this has happened. So, I honestly, it’s like, I forgive him,” she said. “I won’t forget it, but I forgive him.”
“And I was kind of like waiting to say [that we’re not dating],” she continued. “I am very, very, very much single. I’ve been single for a while. And I’m single for a reason. Me and Cooper aren’t together for a reason.”
In the season 11 bios, via BravoTV.com, Cooper shared that he had “0” years of experience in yachting before joining the show.
“It’s the most secretly unprofessional industry,” he said. “We put on masks for the guests, but as soon as they’re gone, we’re just a bunch of modern-day sailors looking for a drink and a good time.”
In Kat’s bio, she revealed what she misses most from home while she’s working: “My dad because he is my best friend in the whole world. We talk every day when I’m onboard, and I always look forward to our coffee dates when I get home. Love you, Dad!”
She also shared what surprised her about working on the boat. “Working in the interior, sometimes you don’t see sunlight for days,” she said. “So, I basically turn into Edward Cullen.”
