Bravo’s The McBee Dynasty finished airing its third season on August 17.
While star Steven McBee Jr., 33, began dating Allie Eklund, 29, in November 2025, they split in April 2026, which was shown on the season three finale of the show.
The fallout of their relationship also played out on social media in April, with Steven accusing Allie of cheating, which she denied.
Recently, Steven addressed his breakup with Allie and where they stand after the third season wrapped in a conversation with Bravo’s The Daily Dish.
“I hate how things have obviously transpired since then and all of the things that have happened via social media or through the media,” he said. “It really detracts from how good of a relationship we had.”
In a similar vein, Steven noted he hopes “more than anything else” that viewers of the show know that the happy couple they saw on their screens was real.
“Again, things have fallen apart since the breakup with Allie,” he elaborated. “But throughout the season, the amount of respect and love that I had for Allie and her family, and that she had for me and my family, that was genuine and there was a lot of love and respect shared. And I just don’t want that taken away because of everything that’s happened since then, or the fallout since then. There was a lot of love and genuine respect there.”
While he admitted that watching the relationship play out on the show was “bittersweet,” he insisted he’s “grateful.”
“I’m looking back at how happy I was and what hope I had for the future,” Steven shared. “I really did love the girl, think the world of her. And think the world of her family too. I absolutely adore her family, to this day.”
Steven did confirm he and Allie “have not talked” and are not in contact today.
In an interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea that was shared on their Instagram page on August 5, Allie claimed that Steven had texted her “a lot of messages” after they split up, and he had shipped back “a good chunk” of her belongings.
“Nothing felt like an apology or accountability,” she said. “To me, it was more so, ‘I did this because…’ So, it was hard to engage with. And I ended up blocking him… So, I haven’t talked to him. I don’t plan on talking to him.”
She also shared that Steven sent each of her family members a “two-page handwritten letter apologizing,” and he sent flowers to all of the women in her family.
“But I have not been in contact with him,” she added. “He reached out to my family a little bit since then, since I blocked him, but I’ve had no contact.”
