The Real Housewives of Rhode Island’s first season recently wrapped, and filming for the second season is underway.
One of the biggest storylines from the first season was undeniably Rulla Pontarealli’s husband Brian’s affair with alleged mistress Beth Walker.
Beth has become more outspoken in recent weeks as she shared photos of her and Brian and alluding to a “mic drop” moment she has yet to release.
Rulla’s costar Alicia Carmody recently spoke to Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea about the ongoing situation.
“I’m telling you, I – I don’t get it,” Alicia, 41, said of Beth continuing to share posts about Brian. “I – I said this from the beginning, and no one believed me. No one believed me when I said something’s not right.”
“We understand she’s hurt,” she continued. “We understand Brian’s done a lot of wrong things. But he’s chosen his family over and over and over again, and I feel like for his kids and for her children, she should realize, ‘I should step back and stop posting.’”
Alicia added Beth should “relax” with it.
“Move on at this point,” Alicia advised her. “Like, the whole world sees that he chose his family, and I feel for her, too, don’t get me wrong, but like… when is enough, enough, you know?”
Alicia also insisted Rulla, 46, has “moved on” and Beth’s posts don’t “even bother her.”
She also spoke about her costar Liz McGraw abruptly leaving after the first season of the show.
“I’m so happy for her, and I hear she’s thriving,” Alicia revealed. “It is a lot to put your family [out there], and I’m sure she did get hurt with the internet [backlash].”
While the pair had some issues during season one, Alicia claimed she’s currently giving Liz, 56, her “space.”
“I love her from afar. I always will love Liz,” she elaborated. “We started this [show] together. I definitely miss her for certain things, but she had to do what she had to do.”
