Gina Kirschenheiter called out how Vicki Gunvalson “harped” on Emily Simpson’s “Debbie Downer” diss at “every event” – as Gina claimed it’s about “boomers not wanting to be boring.” The Real Housewives of Orange County star also addressed why her wedding to fiancé Travis Mullen has been delayed.

In a recent episode, the cast wrote down their honest opinions about costars. In Emily’s note, she called Vicki a “Debbie Downer,” which offended the original castmate. In future episodes, Vicki often called out Emily’s diss.

“Oh my God, the way [Vicki] harped,” said Gina, in an interview with Decider. “I was so thankful that I did not put that [comment] in that box because the way that she harped on that … She brought it up at every event, every table, every place that she was. Multiple times.”

According to Gina, nobody could have “predicted” Vicki’s reaction.

“It’s something about, like, boomers not wanting to be boring or something,” Gina claimed. “It’s like a really big thing to them, [for others to think] they’re a good time, and they will let you know they’re a good time.”

“[Vicki’s] like, ‘No, I am the queen of whoop-it-up,” said the star, who hinted that this is why Emily’s comment “hit” so hard. “[She’s like], ‘you cannot call me boring.'”

Gina said Vicki was also dealing with the fact that “health stuff” was “slowing her down.”

In an interview with Bravo Insider, Gina addressed feeling “a lot of pressure” to begin her wedding planning with Travis – but this simply makes Gina wish even more to take her time. This is why their wedding has been delayed.

“I feel like marriage is a marathon, and if I’m going to be with Travis for the next 50 years and it takes me five, seven, 10 years to marry him, that’s nothing in comparison to the lifetime we’re gonna spend together, so I don’t feel like I should have to sprint to the altar when the true relationship and marriage is gonna last a lifetime,” she said. “So I’m just taking my time and that’s it.”

“I’ve struggled with it, really, because I feel like, ‘Oh I should be wedding planning.’ But I’m in a different position than the first time I got married. I want to get my kids through college,” Gina added. “I want to have a big, beautiful wedding, but I don’t want to have to feel like I have to skimp on anything or … feel like I’m putting the money towards a wedding when I should be putting it toward putting my kids through school and stuff, so I want to do all that first. … And then I’m gonna have a banger.”

Gina also shared that she wanted a prenup so she could be a good example to her three children. She indicated that the prenup will protect Travis’ kids as well.

“I don’t want anyone fighting. I want it to be very clear about what everything is,” said the star. “And also, I just like to educate myself. I want to know, ‘What should I do? What even is a true prenup? What are these things?’ And I don’t mind sharing that because I feel like I got married really young, I didn’t [do] any of this my first go around, and it got really f—ed. As a lot of young girls do. If I talk about it and I’m open about it…I want people to understand this is what every young person should be doing. … I do think it’s important.”
