The Valley star Brittany Cartwright has been entangled in a bitter divorce battle with her ex Jax Taylor since she filed in 2024.

While there has been recent online drama between the pair — with an email and a DM being outed — things appear to have escalated to the next level.

In a breaking report from TMZ,  it was revealed that Brittany, 37, filed a domestic violence temporary restraining order against Jax, 47.

Court documents were obtained by the outlet in which Brittany alleges that Jax physically attacked her and threatened to “gut” her “like a f***en [sic] fish.”

In the restraining order, which was filed Thursday in L.A. Superior Court and granted by a judge, Jax was ordered to stay 100 yards away from Brittany. She also requested sole custody of their son Cruz Cauchi, 5, but that request was turned down pending a court hearing.

A declaration was also filed by Brittany in which she outlined a pattern of abuse she alleges she suffered at the hands of Jax over the past 10 years.

She claimed in the court documents that Jax exhibited “coercive control, financial abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, gaslighting and even physical violence perpetrated upon me.”

Aside from threatening to “gut” her “like a fish,” Brittany alleged Jax threatened to kill her while he physically attacked her and threw furniture at her. She noted this caused her to suffer injuries.

Brittany also stated that Jax allegedly broke three of her iPhones and one iPad, and he destroyed other property at their house.

Apart from the aforementioned allegations, Brittany accused Jax of stalking her and gaining access to her iPhone, her messages, and her Instagram account without her approval.

He allegedly deleted messages from her phone and took her $70,000 wedding ring from their house and refused to give it back.

Brittany also claimed Jax made another threat, stating he’d go “public” with false accusations about her. Additionally, she alleged he has posted their private messages discussing their son on OurFamilyWizard, a website that helps parents with managing their children.

While these are a ton of allegations, Brittany still had more to add, alleging he has called her names such as “b*tch”, “c*nt”, “fat a*s b*tch”, “fatty,” “broke a*s b*tch,” and “wh*re.” She was allegedly name-called both behind closed doors and in public in front of Cruz.

Finally, Brittany claimed Jax used both child and spousal support to pressure and intimidate her, allegedly putting her down by saying she’s lived on his dime and will now have to pay him for both of these things.

Jax has yet to respond to the restraining order or her allegations.
