Riley Burruss said a man “slapped” her in New York City, as Liam Obergfoll recalled getting “spit on.” Meanwhile, Brooks Marks and Ariana Biermann hinted at getting robbed.
The cast of Next Gen NYC is made up of some NYC natives, though many are from other states. Both Riley and Ariana are from Atlanta, while Brooks is from Salt Lake City. (All three of their mothers are Real Housewives).
On SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, the cast of Next Gen NYC was asked what’s the “most New York thing” that’s ever happened to them.
“I got slapped by a man at a pizza shop,” revealed Riley.
“I got hit by a taxi cab on a bike in Times Square,” Liam Obergfoll answered. “It was pretty sick. It’s like a rite of passage. You got to ride a bike in the city. You got to get smoked a little bit.” Liam also said someone once “spit on” him.
Gia Giudice answered, “Getting used to the subway, thinking you’re going somewhere, and then I end up in Brooklyn.”
Brooks and Ariana said they were robbed.
“I had my bag stolen,” said Brooks.
“I was going to say [when I got] my wallet stolen,” said Ariana.
Last month on Casual Chaos, Riley shared what she would have done differently this season with co-star Georgia McCann (after their onscreen argument).
“I would do everything differently,” she said at the time. “People don’t realize [that] when [Georgia and I] have these snarky comments to each other, we just laugh at each other … we kind of have a running joke, so people don’t realize that we’re literally fine.”
“I talked to her since the episode came out, and me and her are good, like when we were at [an] event, we were hanging out, and I think people were so surprised,” she added. “[Our] generation … even if we do mess up, we can have a conversation and talk things through and let each other know what made us upset or whatever and how to move forward. … I got a lot of hate [after the episode] … so I had to literally turn off my phone for a week.”
