Heather Dubrow revealed which castmate has disappointed her the most this season, as she said she doesn’t know if the friendship is reparable. The Real Housewives of Orange County star also clapped back at Vicki Gunvalson’s “queen bee” suggestion.
Earlier in the season, Emily Simpson accused Heather of always wanting to be “first” and sit in the center of the table. Heather then accused Emily of doing the same thing, as the show revealed a montage of many photos of Emily in the center.
Heather also got into it with Vicki after Heather confronted her for criticizing newbie Carmella Garcia as a mother. Both Vicki and Emily have suggested in recent interviews that Heather likes to be in control.
In an interview for ET, Heather addressed her co-stars who have been speaking negatively about her.
“I think sometimes if people don’t have anything of themselves to talk about, they look for other things,” she said. When asked who has disappointed her the most, Heather answered, “Emily.”
“Is it reparable to you or has a line been crossed?” asked reporter Brice Sander.
“I don’t know,” said Heather. “And that’s not just from the season. It’s from after. … [When we film the reunion], I’ll just have to see how I feel. But even just saying that out loud makes me sad. Like, I’m not angry at all. I’m just a little sad.”
She then called out how Emily accused her of doing things that Emily herself does. “Stop putting things on me that you’re doing as well,” said Heather.
Later on, Heather addressed Vicki’s suggestion that Heather wants to be the queen bee of RHOC.
“I have no interest in being the queen bee,” she said. “And honestly, you know, Vicki might be the OG, but I always think of Tamra as the OC. … I’m under there somewhere, and that’s a totally fine place for me to be. So I don’t understand this pecking order issue.”
“I just found it ridiculous that me defending Carmella, while Vicki is mom-shaming her, that people are more upset with me than they are at Vicki,” she said. “That’s bizarre to me. … [Vicki seemed] checked out to me a lot of times, and that was difficult. [The show] moves at a different speed now … [and] attitudinally, you know, you got to be ready to play.”
