Brit Eady reportedly reached a settlement with her husband, Michael Cunningham, amid their divorce, as Brit will get to keep her vehicles and all of the proceeds from the home sale, but no alimony.
At the end of last year, Brit announced that she was ending her marriage with Michael (months after she announced her exit from Real Housewives of Atlanta). She suggested at the time that she had been pretending like their marriage was working even though it wasn’t.
According to a report from @thegworlsarefightingg on Instagram, Brit and Michael finally reached a settlement.
The outlet stated that, per the August 15 agreement, their Roswell home was sold on July 28, and Brit will get 100 percent of the proceeds. In addition, she’ll keep her 2018 Mercedes GLC300 and 2022 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, and Michael will keep his 2025 Dodge Charger.
Neither Brit nor Michael will receive or pay alimony.
Regarding retirement accounts, investment accounts, personal property, bank accounts, future claims, and marital debts: Brit and Michael will each generally keep the debts and accounts in their own name.
Per the settlement, Brit and Michael are required to live independently and separately, and they must not threaten, harass, attempt to injure, vilify, molest, annoy, or abuse the other. Each party is to stay free from the other party’s authority, control and interference.
As part of the agreement, they both waived further discovery. It is intended for the agreement to be incorporated in the divorce judgment and presented in court if they continue with the divorce.
Brit first addressed the split in December of last year.
“I’m posting this on the last day of 365 to remove this facade of faking like this marriage is going to work,” said the star on Instagram at the time. “Everybody can’t come into the next chapter. I’m done hurting and I want to be happy in my next chapter. Cheers to 2026 of putting my happiness first 🥂 ✌🏽.”
“And for the record as much as I can’t stand him, we are not going to create a false narrative that I’m walking away because of any fake made up rumors,” she added.
