Andy McCune, CEO and founder of search engine Cosmos, leaked his alleged DM exchange with Andy Cohen, as Andy tried to get him to give up is @andy username on Instagram. The CEO also hinted at how much he’d sell it for, and claimed that Andy won’t “take no for an answer.”
For many years, Cohen’s Instagram name has been @bravoandy – though he has many projects that aren’t directly tied to the network. Of course, Cohen is most famous for hosting and executive producing reality shows on Bravo, including Watch What Happens Live.
In a September 18 post on X, Andy McCune shared that “Andy Cohen is in my dms and he will not take no for an answer.
According to a screenshot of their alleged DM exchange, Cohen first wrote to McCune in April of 2020: “Andy! I’m assuming you would never give up this screen name?”
McCune responded, “There can only be one real Andy. And it’s me.”
“Hmmm,” Andy replied.
In October of that same year, Andy wrote, “What if I trade you @andy on twitter for @andy on Instagram.” In a separate message, he added, “Andy! Wouldn’t you rather have @andy on twitter than insta?”

In the comments, a fan suggested that McCune sell it to Cohen for $1 million.
“Higher,” McCune responded.
Back in 2023, Cohen reflected on the Real Housewives franchise.
“[I’m] pretty engaged with it still, believe it or not. There are moments that are tiresome, but I’m not tired of it in totality,” he said in an interview with The New Yorker. “I can’t believe it’s still going, with no end in sight—the franchise and how many there are.”
“There’s no show that has given a platform for women over fifty in this way, in terms of expressing their sexuality and who they are and starting over in life and figuring things out,” he added. “Before we started shooting, Jeana Keough told the producers she was getting a divorce. And I was, like, clutching my pearls. ‘Oh, no, Jeana’s gonna get divorced. That’s my friend!’ While simultaneously saying, ‘Wait a minute: Jeana’s getting a divorce, and we’re about to start shooting. So now this is, like, a story: What do her friends think, and is she going to start dating?’”
