Angie Katsanevas hinted that Bronwyn Newport will be in the reunion hotseat – as she has a “lot of things” to address. Meanwhile, Heather Gay suggested that this is how the season “ended,” and Whitney Rose said she’s now Bronwyn’s “only ally.”
At last year’s reunion on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Bronwyn shared that she and her husband Todd Bradley split. She later started dating model Brandon Good, though they eventually broke up. According to a recent report, she’s now allegedly dating a married NYC restaurateur.
In an interview for Us Magazine, castmates – in individual interviews – were asked who will be in the “reunion hot seat.”
“I just feel like Bronwyn had a lot of things that she had to address,” said Angie Katsanevas. “There’s a lot of questioning of Bronwyn’s personal situation. So I’d have to probably say her.”
When Lisa Barlow was asked the same question, she answered, “I don’t know. It’s too early to tell. There’s a couple.”
In Whitney’s interview, she answered, “I think Bronwyn’s going to be in the hot seat at the reunion. And you know what? I’m her only ally, so I’ll be right there with her.”
Heather stated, “I think Bronwyn’s going to probably be in the hot seat at the reunion … Based on how things ended, I can’t see anything other than that.”
Newbie Ashley Quai answered, “The hot seat for me will definitely be Angie and Whitney. I don’t know everything going on. I sometimes zone out and start singing the Muppet song in my head.”
Last week on WWHL, Bronwyn shared where she and her estranged husband Todd now stand.
“[We’re] amicable. Just like we look,” she said. “[But] Todd and I aren’t together … We’re done. … We are very close to everything being filed and done. We did it privately with a mediator.”
Bronwyn also shared that she learned much from her costar Mary Cosby, whose son tragically passed away before the new season started filming.
“I’ve learned from Mary just so much about strength and being rooted in who you are and what you believe in, and I can’t imagine and fathom what she’s gone through, but also she was such a pillar for all of us, an example, and I think you really saw [in the premiere] that we all wanted to come together and be there for her,” she said. “It was a really rough pivot to, ‘We’re gonna come together. This is important.’ I mean, you hear Mary say we show up in a way that maybe even her family didn’t. Like she really counted on us, and it was a responsibility we all wanted to live up to.”
