Heather Dubrow revealed what Emily Simpson told her off camera before the new season of the Real Housewives of Orange County – as she suggested that Emily “lulled” her into a “false sense of security.”

On the new season, as Heather tried to foster her friendship with newbie Carmella Garcia, Emily brought up on camera that Heather previously called Carmella trashy-looking before they met. Attorney Emily seemingly wanted to prove that Heather wasn’t authentic.

In an interview for the “B**ch Bible” podcast, Heather addressed the idea that she’s inauthentic on camera.

“Listen, I’ve called people trashy on camera before,” she said.

“That’s your big bomb, by the way? Who f***ing cares?” responded the host Jackie Schimmel.

“Who cares?” Heather agreed. “And what’s so funny is — they didn’t show this, but I think Carmella talked about it in the After Show — I said to her when I was apologizing, which I really felt bad. … I go, ‘By the way, I never would have told you this if it hadn’t come up.'”

Later on, Heather addressed her comment in the beginning of the season about not having a “buddy on this show.”

“Literally, that was a euphemism [meaning] you all have someone to have a safe space off camera with, and I would like that as well,” she explained. “And so Emily said to me — I haven’t told anyone this — but Emily said to me before the season started, she’s like, ‘You know what? I’m really your friend. Me and Gina are like, we’re your friends, and you do have a safe space with us.'”

“Because you do need to sometimes say something or vent about something or whatever it is [off camera],” she said. “And that doesn’t mean you’re inauthentic. This isn’t Big Brother or the Real World where we’re filmed 24-7.”

Heather hinted that she thinks Emily “lulled” her into a “false sense of security.”

“I did say that [comment] about [Carmella] to Gina. [Gina] told Emily. By the way, she told Emily off camera. I mean, the irony. She told Jen off camera. Then they brought it on camera,” Heather added. “Then even my apology wasn’t enough.”
