Maddi Reese claimed Leva Bonaparte was “super supportive” of Joe Bradley’s exit from Republic before things “got messy.” The Southern Hospitality star also hinted at things getting “messy” with TJ Dinch, and she shared where Maddi herself stands with Leva.
Earlier this year, Joe announced that he was leaving Leva’s restaurant, Republic Garden and Lounge. TJ also indicated that he was branching out on his own, before news surfaced that Leva unfollowed them both. Joe’s new hospitality group is connected to Leva’s Southern Charm co-stars Craig Conover and Austen Kroll (amid rumors that Leva may not be returning to Southern Hospitality).
At the VRT Awards, Maddi addressed how Leva reacted to Joe’s exit from Republic.
“To be honest, she was like super supportive when it first happened, and then I feel like it got messy after,” said Maddi. “Same thing with TJ — I feel like it got messy.”
Maddi then shared where she herself stands with Leva.
“I like to see Joe and I as two individual people, and I feel like I’m in a good place with [Leva], in a good spot with her. … I’m kind of unsure about Joe.”
Back in August, a source told Reality Blurb that Leva was feuding with Joe and TJ.
“Rumblings of a falling out between Leva and Joe and Leva and TJ are not rumors,” said the source. “They’re facts. … [Joe] did the right thing [and] met with Leva when he was going to leave Republic.”
“She absolutely lost it,” the source added. “He was upfront with her and told her the truth, which, again, was the respectful thing to do. She inevitably told him she was disappointed but wished him well. But those who know Leva know she is upset, and those well wishes weren’t exactly sincere, and she’s being shady. … As far as TJ goes, after he posted on Instagram about people not supporting your endeavors, she also was upset with him.”
As of now, the future casting of Southern Hospitality is unknown, though reports have claimed that a major cast shakeup is in the works.
