This season on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, fans have met newbie Ashley Quai, who is a friend of the housewives.
To date, there has been some drama around a story about Ashley, 44, using her fiancé’s toothbrush to scrub the toilet when she was mad at him and then putting it back.
Ashley also got into it with fellow friend of the Housewives, Britani Bateman, 55, early in the season over Britani claiming Ashley had told people she couldn’t stand Meredith Marks, 54. This was a rumor Ashley vehemently denied.
In the wake of all of this, multiple insiders have come forward to Reality Blurb to exclusively share that Britani got into it with Ashley over something even bigger.
“What you don’t see on the show that filmed but didn’t air is that Ashley is really good friends with Britani’s ex-husband,” one source stated.
Another insider insisted that a conversation went down regarding how Ashley “sides with” him.
“Bravo decided not to air it because it’s too ugly and too gross,” the initial source claimed. “She talked about Britani as a stepmom and how she was terrible, which were allegations Britani felt strongly about, as she felt she was a good stepmother and took this very personally.”
“Britani absolutely lost her mind when this conversation went down,” they added.
As fans of the show know, the topic of Britani’s ex-husband and Ashley hasn’t even been broached, so it’s definitely interesting that such a heated moment occurred that viewers will not be privy to.
While Britani didn’t get into it with co-star Heather Gay this season, an insider previously slammed “hurtful” remarks Heather, 52, made about her.
After Britani claimed to have some intel regarding Bronwyn Newport‘s home, Heather questioned her “detective” skills in a confessional, going as far as to call her “Inspector Gadget.”
She also doubled down on her claims about Britani on an episode of Watch What Happens Live.
“Heather insulting Britani on last night’s RHOSLC seemingly came out of the blue,” a source dished to Reality Blurb at the time. “Britani has always considered Heather to be a friend, and Heather has always been one to go to bat for Britani. Heather sat at that table like a pig in s*it listening to Britani’s information about Bronwyn – which was pretty undeniable, given that Britani was showing actual records – and then Heather turned around and basically insulted her intelligence, referring to her as ‘Inspector Gadget’ and insinuating she didn’t have the entire story.”
“This definitely was hurtful to Britani and has her and fans questioning if all the rumors about Heather not being who she seems are true,” they added. “Maybe Heather was just jealous that Britani was the one who had the information when she’s usually one that likes to bring major tea to the group?”
