Teddi Mellencamp shared why she thinks Tamra Judge waited to confront Vicki Gunvalson until later in the season. She also revealed the real reason she thinks Vicki is “pissed” at Tamra, as Dolores Catania reacted.
In the latest episode of Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra expressed how she was hurt by Vicki’s past comment about how Tamra chose reality TV over her daughter Sidney, who has asked not to be mentioned on the show. In the past, Vicki has been accused of mom-shaming castmates she doesn’t like, though Tamra and Vicki seemed fine throughout the season until recently.
On Two Ts in a Pod, Teddi shaded Vicki’s apology to Tamra over the comment.
“There was no empathy attached to it,” said Teddi. “I think Tamra’s been holding [the comment] in because she didn’t want to bring it up at this point, but now she had to.”
She then threw more shade at Vicki.
“Also, if you’re someone who constantly points out that other people are bad mothers, there’s something behind that,” said Teddi.
Dolores added, “Vicki doesn’t like Tamra and doesn’t want to be around her. With Tamra, [Vicki] can’t get past it.”
Teddi agreed, “So [Vicki’s] going to pull up the same exact things that she knows is going to hurt [Tamra] the worst. There’s a [part] of her that’s pissed off that Tamra got hired back before [Vicki] did.”
Back in 2024, Vicki shared insight into her relationship with Tamra at the time.
“It just got so ugly and mean, and it wasn’t pertaining really toward me, but I saw the character of the person that I called a friend, and I just realized, like, I don’t want to be around that in my life,” Vicki explained on Hollywood Raw With Dax Holt and Adam Glyn. “She’s attacked me some years. She’s attacked, you know, [Gretchen Rossi], she’s attacked [Gina Kirschenheiter]. She attacked every single, [Heather Dubrow] last year, it’s like every single year she’s after somebody. It’s, like, stop. We can film a great reality show without hurting people.”
