Ariana Biermann is opening up about the details of her first year at college and what she has planned for the future.
In a new interview, the Don’t Be Tardy star dished on her freshman year at Georgia State University and shared how she’s getting along starting college during an unprecedented time amid a global pandemic.
“I was supposed to go to [Arizona State University], but due to corona and just everything going on in our world, I just decided that was not the best plan for this year,” Ariana told Page Six in a recent interview. “So I am right now taking online classes at Georgia State because it was canceled in person here. So I’m doing online right now and then my plan for the next couple of years is either to transfer to UCLA and move to L.A. or go to SCAD in Atlanta and study fashion.”
Arielle is unlike her sister Brielle Biermann, who recently shared that she opted to stay home instead of going off to college to be closer with family, as HollywoodLife reported.
“It wasn’t even about getting away [from the family],” Ariana said of going away for school “It’s just being on my own and going to see the world and experience life and go to college.”
Mom Kim Zolciak-Biermann seems to be happy about the news, though, as her second eldest daughter hangs back with the family for now via online learning.
“Guess who started college today??! ???????????? my sweet @arianabiermann I can’t believe it!! Where did the time go?” Kim wrote on Instagram. “She opted to stay in GA and not attend ASU due to Covid. I’m over the moon about it! The entire family is actually!!’”
The Don’t Be Tardy matriarch went on, “She has no plans on staying here next year of course ????????♀️???????? but I’ll cross that bridge then ❤️ We are so proud of you Ana Banana and you will always be my baby no matter what! Love you to the moon and back a zillion times!”
Don’t Be Tardy airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on Bravo.
