Tamra Judge and her podcast co-host, Teddi Mellencamp, claimed that Scheana Shay confronted them after Teddi suggested that Scheana started the ‘roofie’ rumor. Meanwhile, Scheana shared that Real Housewives of Orange County cast members reached out to let her know that Tamra is “behind this.”
In the new season, Katie Ginella accused Gretchen Rossi of claiming off-camera that Tamra once drugged her. Podcaster Kiki Monique alleged that Katie leaked this story to her at a lunch, though Katie denies it. Last week, Teddi said on her podcast, while interviewing Katie, that she heard that Scheana was actually the one who told the story to Kiki, her co-host.
On her Two Ts in a Pod podcast, Tamra addressed Teddi’s recent claim.
“I am on vacation, you interview Katie, [then] I get a text message after it from Scheana,” recalled Tamra. “And it says, ‘Hey, give me a call when you can, please.'”
Teddi added, “I was sent like 16 screenshots, [was] told that this was a rumor [about Scheana] that was happening. I didn’t just like pull it out of my a**. And I’m not saying that it’s true or not true. I have no idea. And that is why I said rumor has it. And that’s what we do. We go on here and we talk about rumors … [Scheana] did end up contacting me, too.”
Addressing Scheana directly, Tamra said it’s “not that deep.”
“The fact that you blame me and said that I have editing rights — well, let me just tell you something, sweetie. I wasn’t on the pod. I did not listen to the pod. I did not go, ‘Oh, by the way, you should remove that.'”
“It’s a rumor,” said Teddi. “Who cares?”
Meanwhile, at Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” Awards, Scheana was asked if she knows the truth about the rumor.
“Yes,” said Scheana. “And the truth is with Gretchen. Gretchen never said this to Katie. And so now for Katie to go on Two Ts in a Pod, and Teddi’s like, ‘Well, I heard Scheana heard this from Gretchen and told Kiki,’ I’m like, I never heard any of this at all. Gretchen has never said this. I’ve been friends with her for 15 years. I think I would have heard the story by now … One thing I know about Gretchen is she doesn’t lie.”
“And so now they’re just spreading lies about me,” Scheana continued. “[Since this came out] I’ve had three orange-holding Housewives reach out to me. And some of the insight I’ve gotten with some of them, all fingers, all things point to Tamra being behind this.”
Scheana believes Tamra and Katie are “canoodling behind the scenes.”
