The Real Housewives of Atlanta alums Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker‘s business owes over $100,000 in a legal settlement as the couple’s divorce continues.
The settlement is related to Burruss Tucker Restaurant Group, the former couple’s company, and stems from debt they owed their former landlord.
According to court documents TMZ obtained, Kandi and Todd agreed to pay the landlord $140,509.10 for rent and remediation costs related to their restaurant, Blaze Steak & Seafood.
They have been in court fighting their landlord, who initially alleged Kandi and Todd owed him over $200,000 in back rent and repairs for over a year.
The court ruled Blaze Steak & Seafood had entered a legally binding agreement with its landlord to pay $140,000. Kandi and Todd’s company denied they did anything wrong and filed counterclaims against the landlord regarding the lease.
With the ruling, the judge determined Kandi and Todd owed the $140,000, and the parties agreed to dismiss all other claims.
In an appearance on the Question Everything podcast, Kandi opened up about her business ventures and expressed regret over starting a number of businesses with Todd.

“Having all those different businesses has been a stressful situation,” she shared. “But I guess because… now [that] I’m getting divorced, it’s kind of like, doing things together, we [are] not on the same page.”
“I just want to go back to my creative space,” she added.
On November 21, 2025, Kandi confirmed she was splitting from Todd in a statement to People.
“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce,” she shared at the time. “This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect.”
“I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth,” she continued. “I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace, and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family.”
She appeared on Watch What Happens Live on February 22 and opened up more about her divorce.
When asked if there was a “specific moment or thing” that sparked her decision to leave Todd, Kandi insisted there “was a specific situation that happened” but declined to talk about it.
While she claimed their conversations can “get a little intense” at times, she did say their split is mostly peaceful.
“For the most part, even if we argue, we still try to be nice to each other,” she divulged. “We’re co-parenting. Last night, we went to my son’s basketball game. So, we were there sitting right next to each other. I’m sure people was like, ‘Uh…'”
“But I feel like once we’re done with this, I really feel that we will be able to be great co-parents,” she elaborated, “because our ultimate goal is to make sure that all of our kids are happy and that they don’t feel the brunt of our drama.”
Kandi also insisted the estranged pair are doing their “best” to “get along and get through this moment,” as they “don’t have a lot” they’re disagreeing over.
