Crystal Kung-Minkoff looked back on the “Ugly Leather Pants” party at Sutton Stracke‘s house, which was featured on a recent episode of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, on last week’s episode of her podcast.
As she admitted that her castmates weren’t fans of Vicki Gunvalson, 64, revealed which ladies warned her about the Real Housewives of Orange County star, and spoke of an unaired fight between Vicki and Gizelle Bryant, 55, of The Real Housewives of Potomac, the 43-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared who she hit it off with most and disclosed behind-the-scenes details from filming.
“It’s very limited, but I really connected with Gizelle and [Porsha Williams],” Crystal said on the August 17 episode of Humble Brag. “We were inseparable.”
According to Crystal, she chose the ladies for her team amid a cast game on the episode because they were “[her] people.”
“You don’t see [that] we were together for hours, but like, I love them,” she explained. “We were like, texting right after. And [Cynthia Bailey] texted me like, ‘These are your people,’ and I’m like, ‘I love them.’ So we had such a good time, but the second they came in, Gizelle grabbed me. They were, like, not into Vicki.”
Recalling the way in which Vicki didn’t seem to know anyone at Sutton’s home, including Sutton, Crystal wondered, “You’re going to someone’s house you don’t know?”
Then, after it was noted that Real Housewives of New York City alum Luann de Lesseps, 61, had switched the name cards for a group meal because she didn’t want to sit next to Vicki, Crystal admitted she wasn’t present when the shade occurred.
“I didn’t know that happened. I didn’t see that moment. But energetically, all the girls were like, very anti-Vicki when they came in, so watching the car ride, I have context,” Crystal shared, adding that she was warned about Vicki by both Gizelle and Porsha, 45, of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
“Gizelle was like, ‘That girl is a problem,’ and Porsha’s like, ‘Oh my God!’ I was like, ‘Okay,’” she revealed.
Crystal then confirmed an unaired fight between Gizelle and Vicki.
“Vicki has this thing where she just like, ‘Bahh!’ Like, yells. And so there was …. They didn’t air that. Like, Gizelle came for Vicki at the lunch,” she stated.
Also on the podcast, Crystal said that during an episode of Andy Cohen‘s radio show, he admitted to editing out scenes from Vicki’s argument with Tamra Judge, 58, and Shannon Beador, 62, since he and his producers wanted the show to be fun, which could have been why fans didn’t see the spat between Vicki and Gizelle.
