Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley has been accused of extorting her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, as she allegedly spends over $100K a month on “high-end” goods.
Ronald Richards, a well-known attorney, exposed court documents from Dorit and PK’s contentious divorce, highlighting key points people should take note of.
Taking to Instagram, Ronald alleged the following: “Bombshell filings in the Dorit ‘Poorit’ Kemsley and Paul Kemsley divorce. Dorit is extorting Paul for immediate $50,000 payments, or she will expose him. She is spending $102,000 per month, mostly on high-end shopping. There is a battery of text messages between them that are too much to post here for now.”
He continued, “A well-known RA attorney also submitted a declaration showing the property Dorit lives in is facing two foreclosures from two different lenders with over $6,538,634 in debt and mounting daily. There is not much equity to save here after commissions. Dorit has an abusive and unrealistic spending problem, just like Erika Girardi. Paul is hanging on for dear life here. It was sad reading his papers. We will filter out some of the messages and post more later.”
Looking through the documents he shared shows a specific line detailing that Dorit allegedly spent “$2,661,538 ($102,367 per month from January 1, 2024, through February 28, 2026, or 26 months) on expenses for her benefit.”
In terms of the alleged extortion, the documents denote Dorit allegedly said the two $50K payments would prevent her from engaging in “dirty games” including what could be potential “reputational harm” to PK. She also allegedly said the information she could disclose could harm PK’s current girlfriend.
The documents come fresh on the heels of an earlier report that Dorit refused to move back in with PK at his current residence, regardless of the home she currently lives in reportedly moving toward foreclosure.
Court documents also detailed the latest issue in the pair’s divorce, as PK suggested Dorit and their two kids move in with him amid their financial struggles, to which Dorit told him, “Over my f*cking dead body.”
Things are so bad financially, according to PK, that their situation is a “crisis.”
While he alleged he’s tried to speak with Dorit about it, he says she has refused to take part in negotiations and has responded with “harassing, caustic, erratic, and deflecting” communications.
PK also noted Dorit tarnished him on RHOBH when she claimed he didn’t speak with her about their finances after they broke up, and that she had no clue he wasn’t paying the mortgage on their home. He specifically alleged that his ex’s claims are “demonstrably false,” stating that he kept her abreast of everything and warned her repeatedly about the potential foreclosure on their home.
