Lisa Barlow said Whitney Rose’s fashion sense “looks really cheap,” as she slammed the “way she carries herself” and “cheapens everything.” The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star also hinted at her husband John Barlow’s “gross” DMs from fans this season.
Though Lisa and Whitney have clashed for years, Lisa accepted her apology in a recent episode, and it seemed like they were on a good path. This season, Whitney took a break from alcohol after admitting that she was drinking in excess. She suggested that alcohol played a part in why she shaded Lisa on a live show ahead of the new season, which is why Whitney apologized.
On the Throwing Fits podcast, Lisa was recently asked which co-star has the worst fashion sense.
“Whitney’s looks really cheap,” said Lisa. “And I don’t mean this in a mean way. I think it’s the way she carries herself, too. She, like, cheapens everything.”
Lisa then addressed Whitney’s pink velour outfit from a recent episode.
“I hated it. It’s horrible,” said Lisa.
“Was that Shein or Temu?” asked the podcast host.
“Maybe both,” Lisa answered.
At one point, Lisa shared that her husband John has been getting “gross” DMs this season from fans coming onto him.
“Some people are so brazen and so gross,” she said. “Just so you know, John’s DMs are 100% seen by me. Warning. If you’re in John Barlow’s DMs, I already know it. I already see it. And you’re blocked. If you’re gross, you’re blocked.”
On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Lisa was asked if her cozy post of herself with John was to shade Whitney and Angie Katsanevas’ breakups.
“It had nothing to do with anyone on my cast. John and I are business partners, so if you notice there’s tequila in the picture, it was about our business, and John’s my partner in life,” she said. “My partner in business. My partner in parenting, everything. So for me, it was just a post. It didn’t even come into mind. I think when they saw other stuff on the internet, then it made them think it was about them, but it had nothing to do with my post.”
