Kyle Richard’s husband Mauricio Umansky is speaking out days after it was reported their new home was burglarized while they were on vacation.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars remain in Aspen on vacation, and have yet to return home after they had a ton of valuables stolen including jewelry, watches, and designer handbags all said to be worth over $1 million!
Mauricio, a top real estate agent, is however maintaining a positive attitude and choosing to focus on what matters the most.
He shared the Instagram post below with his family pics with the following caption: “2017 Memories #family Nothing replaces Family. They can steal your belongings but they can’t steal your memories or your love.”
And despite the burglary, Kyle and Mauricio decided to remain on vacation in the Aspen. In fact Kyle was photographed over the weekend shopping with her friend and fellow Bravo housewife Bethenny Frankel. Bethenny shared a photo of the two together just hours ago –
The home that was robbed is the same one Kyle, 48, and Mauricio, 47, purchased in October for $8.2 million. You can see photos of it here.
Over $1 million dollars in jewelry, including $150,000 worth of watches owned by Mauricio, were stolen. Kyle’s handbags, which included her Birkins and Chanels, were also taken. Some of those bags were reportedly given to Kyle by her late mom and she had plans to pass them down to her own daughters one day.
While the home did have a security system, it wasn’t armed during the burglary due to the fact that it was undergoing renovations and a number of people had access to it. No arrests have been made yet in the case.
